Our Kittan Sunglasses are an exaggerated cat eye design crafted from high quality acetate and UV 400 tinted lenses, offering protection from the sun. Thick frames with a unique frosted striped pattern are made from all day wear while offering an oversized, statement look. All ELK sunglasses come with a protective, foldable case and cleaning cloth to increase longevity and enhance appearance. All of our sunglasses are tested according to Australian and New Zealand standards.
Design & Makers Notes
The Kittan Sunglasses have high quality, scratch resistant CR-39 lens that has been reinforced for additional strength and flexibility. CR-39 is a thermoset plastic that has the highest abrasion/scratch resistance of any uncoated optical plastic. A cured cellulose acetate frame has been used as it is a plant based plastic that is hypoallergenic and is known for being strong, lightweight, and flexible. Cellulose acetate is the highest quality plastic material for eyewear.
These sunglasses are rated Category 3 for sun glare rating. This means they are for general purpose and offer high protection against sun glare.
Compliance:
Australia and New Zealand- This product complies with the requirements of AS/NZS 1067.1:2016
UV 100% protection- tested in accordance to Australian and New Zealand Standards.
USA and Europe- This product complies with the requirements of European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 in accordance with EN ISO 12312-1:2013 A1:2015, as well as ANSI Z80.3-2015 in USA.

Care Instructions
To clean your glasses use fresh water (never salt water) or a gentle lens cleaning solution. Use the provided lens cloth and never use paper towel, tissue or any other rough material as it may cause scratches. Please store in the case provided.
Warnings:
Not suitable for driving at night or under conditions of dull light. Not for direct observation of the sun. Not for protection against artificial light, e.g. solaria. Not for use as eye protection against mechanical impact hazards.
